Introduction to Digital Photography (First Class)

The term Photography coined in Europe in 1839 from the Greek term “Photos” which means light and “Graphe” which means drawing.
Photography basically means drawing with light.

Made in1826 by French inventor Nicéphore Niépce, took 8 hours to expose.
 Photography is like our eyes focuses the light that reflects off of objects.
Shutter is like the eyelid and the Aperture of a camera is like our pupil.
 Digital camera technology is directly related to and evolved from the same technology that recorded TV images.
